Module H- Cyberethics for Kids
Integration corner for Module H and chapter 8, I found a website called Cyberethics for Kids. This is a really good website to teach children the dangers of the internet. Also, to give them tips on what information you should not give out on the internet. Like you should never give out personally information out on the internet because there are crazy people out there that will take advantage and steal your identity or could even want to hurt you. This website also offers information on rules in cyberspace and explains to children that hacking is a serious thing and you could get into a lot of trouble for doing it. It also gives kids different scenarios on what other kids have done and could get in trouble for is they were caught. One example they give is two kids want to purchase a game on the computer, but its to expensive. However one of the kids remembers there it a website he could get this game for free, which is illegal and you can get into a lot of trouble over and this website lets kids know the dangers and consequences of there actions on the computer. But I think children need to know what’s on the computer and the dangers and trouble they can get into.
Module G- Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators
In chapter 7 integration corner I found a website called Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators. It helps teachers find rubrics and assessments to evaluate your students. It makes it easier on the teacher, so they don’t have to make their own they could find one on this website. It gives rubrics of every kind, it varies from student web page rubrics to subject-specific and general rubrics. This website would be so useful and helpful. Say to give out group projects to the students and they are due next week, but you realized you have so many papers to grade and go through your not going to have enough time to make a assessment rubric. That’s where this website will lighten the pressure and take that weight off your shoulder and be very helpful. If you assigned a web page assignment they have a rubric on here that is very informative and would be perfect for it. But the rubrics on this website are legit and would help teachers out a lot so that is one less thing they would have you worry about or do. But this website gives rubrics for any subject and also teaches you how to make your own so that if you need one specific that they don’t offer.

Module F- Web English Teachers: Children Literature
The Integration corner for Chapter 6 that I chose was Web English Teacher: Children’s Literature. This website gives teachers resources for children literature. I think it is very useful for beginning teachers because it gives them somewhere to go to get ideas and help. It also has options of grammar, drama, interdisciplinary. It’s a great website for anyone in the education field looking for resources on how to teach different English topics. The website gives you A to B resources. When you select a topic it gives you a lesson plan. It also includes question and resources for the literature you chose and ideas for an authors study and many other cool things. Other option it covers is speech, vocabulary, reading and literacy. This website is very helpful and sufficient of knowledge. I can help anyone going into the education field as an English teacher get a start and succeed. It is a very easy website to find out information on different material and would be useful for elementary school. As a future educator I would definitely think about integrating this website in to my curriculum because I feel it would help me teach material that I may not be as good at as other teachers would be.

Module E- Technology Tutorial
I went to the integration corner and found a website called internet from classrooms. This website gives you tutorials on all the different technology, like Microsoft Office, Works, and many more. It also teaches you how to work with different programs and how to figure them out. Some of the resources give step-by-step directions on how to work through everything. Also gives teachers different ways to integrate the technology and places you can go on the internet to find new ways of integration. This website is really good for both students and teachers because it gives many resources and programs that will come in handy when you’re teaching your own class. But all together I think this would be a very helpful website because it gives lots of information and step-by –step directions for mostly everything. When clicking whatever you need help with it will give a list of options. For example, you pick classroom task oriented Tutorials, it will come to a screen with a couple more options and if you pick the first one, which is basic word. It will have a list of options that you may have a question about and it gives to detailed information.

Pro Teachers! Science and Technology
On the integration corner I found a website called Pro Teacher Science and Technology. This website is pretty cool because it helps teachers with lesson plans and even themes and bulletin boards for classrooms. If you were deciding to teach a science and technology class this would be an awesome website for you. It gives options on topics like earth science, physical science, and life science, each one has lesson plans. For an example, if you select earth science it gives you another list of options and pick dinosaur it will bring up more resources, you choose one of them and they give different activities you could do for that certain subject. It’s a really interesting way to get ideas for your class and to find new ways to get the students doing hands on activities. Then they have a theme and bulletin board link, which gives you ideas on how to decorate your room to have a science theme or even different themes. I think this website would be very helpful for a beginning teacher or even an experience teacher to get ideas or share ideas with others. It could even be a sample lesson plan to get you started so you can add on to it as you go or even take things out.

Fact Monster: Integration Corner
In the integration corner I found a website called Fact Monster. This website is actually really cool. It has different topics that vary from world and news to math and money. You can pick different levels of information appropriate for their grade level. If I was a teacher I would definitely use this and integrate it into my curriculum. It also includes games and quizzes that help the students see what they actually learned and practice. It has a homework center for the teacher to get homework on what they worked on. It has each subject, which is very helpful where students could do work at home if they were having trouble in a certain subject. I think that this website is a very informed and would be very helpful in teaching students certain subjects. It’s a cool little website that your students would enjoy and have fun learning. It has science and technology too, which includes biology, chemistry, earth science, physics and the list goes on. It has different options for each category, so it can cover all topics. You can also pick if you are a girl or boy, and then asked your grade level so it can fulfill your needs to learn.

Technology used in Kindergarten
In the integration corner of chapter two I found a website about teaching kindergarten students about and how to use the computer. The website talks about a teacher in Kansas, what she uses to teach her students about the computer. She starts out by teaching them to click and drag objects on the computer with the mouse. Then she moves on to teaching them on a program called Kid Pix Studio Deluxe. This program let Kindergarteners draw shapes and figures with the mouse and learning how to use the technology and to learn to make shapes at the same time. She explains many other different ways she integrated the technology into the class. They learn how to quit and start up the programs that are using in the classroom and for future programs they use. They learn to write their names with the pencils on that same program, which is helping them with technology and how to spell at the same time. The program will also teach them their colors by using the paint and coloring in sections of shapes they draw. But I think this program is useful because its helping the teacher teach the students shapes, colors, spelling, and how to use the technology all in one.

Integrating online math for kindergarten
I picked the math corner and I found a really cool website that has a place for students to do virtual math. The website walks students through math problems and lets the student work through each problem helping them understand what they are doing. I think it would be really helpful for kindergartners to have this integrated in either class work or homework where the parents can sit down with them at home and help them do homework. The website includes bar charts, teaching students to use graphs and charts for class or anything they might need them for.
I think this is important for a class because if students are having trouble in math they can go on this virtual website and learn what they may have missed or were having trouble with in class. The parents of the child could help them with whatever they are behind in, in class. But I think others would think this was interesting because they never know how they can help their students with class work or what they are having trouble with, so all the parents would have to do is just jump on the computer and go to that website and it will be fun for the student, it has building blocks and everything.

Integrating Blogs
There are different ways you could integrate blogging into your classrooms, even for the younger grades. I remember in elementary when we would have our journals and write about random topics the teacher would handout. As I've grown up computer have been thrown into classes more and more. Now teachers are putting computers in classrooms and adding work involving computers to help students get a head start on technology. One thing you could do is instead of writing in a journal, as a future teacher, I could get students blogging, where every student could see each other's blogs and they could see what they had in common on some grounds, also they opinions of fellow classmates.
some benefits of blogging are that it gets the students to know more about each other. They will get better at writing as are they are doing something fun and reading other students blogs. I have never blogged before and this will be my first time, but if I was introduced to it at a younger age and was able to see the opinions of other classmates. I think it would have been better for me and the other students. But blogging is a useful tool in this society. You get to hear others opinions, feelings, and ideas about random and cool stuff.
